The members of the FHPA would like to send their deepest condolences to the family of Linda Renchko and Rachel Parker who have both recently passed. Linda passed earlier this month after a long battle with cancer, and her daughter Rachel passed away June 24, 2009 after being involved in a car crash. They will both be sadly missed at all of our shows.
Foothills Horse and Pony Association is a local non-profit horse club that holds open horse shows at the Dayton Fairgrounds in Dayton, Pa, and also at the Crooked Creek Horse Park in Ford City, Pa. FHPA holds horse shows starting in May and ending in September and includes showmanship and halter classes, western, english, and saddleseat pleasure and equitation classes, miniature classes, trail, barrels and poles.
Foothills is PAC approved and has a variety of types of horses showing at all of our shows. The club has a strong focus on our youth and has many classes for the walk trotters as well as many advanced classes to challenge the older members. The 2009 season is about to begin and we look forward to seeing lots of new faces!
